Privacy Policy

FamCal ("we", "us") is an app for creating printable photo calendars from your own images. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party advertising trackers.

Information we collect

Account — your email address and a password (stored hashed by our authentication provider). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email and a unique identifier.
Your content — the photos you add and the calendar documents you create (titles, events, layout, chosen region).
Purchase records — if you buy the export unlock, we store a flag that you purchased it (no card or payment details).

How we use it

Solely to provide the app: to authenticate you, save and sync your calendars and photos across your devices, generate your print-ready PDF, and unlock features you purchase. We do not use your content for any other purpose.

Where it's stored & who processes it

Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and private file storage. Your photos live in a private bucket accessible only to your account.
Stripe (web purchases) and Apple / Google with RevenueCat (in-app purchases) — process payments and purchase validation. We never receive or store your full payment details.

Sharing

We don't sell or rent your information. We share data only with the processors above to run the service, or if required by law.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account and content until you ask us to delete them. To delete your account and associated photos and calendars, email us at the address below and we'll remove them.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls that scope your photos and calendars to your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

FamCal is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy; we'll revise the date above when we do.
